Northeast Regional Gathering, March 26, 2011

NE Regional Gathering, Order of Ecumenical Franciscans
Saturday, March 26, 2011, St.Francis House, Broad Street, New London, CT

Bruce and I will be there at 10am.  Come when you can.
We will join Cal and friends for Peace Vigil at Noon. 
Pick up lunch foods at Local Co-op after.
Continue at St.Francis House through the afternoon.
Shared meal, worship/prayer and faith-sharing.

Those who are able may wish to linger for dinner.

We are meeting at Victory House, next door, 32 Broad Street, Bruce and Shoshanah plan to be there by 10:00 am.
We will gather at 12:00 noon at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on the corner of State and Broad Street for a one hour peace demonstration.
If you are driving, New London is on I-95.  I leave it to you to map the best way from the interstate to St Francis House.  There are multiple routes.

If you are coming by train -- Amtrak -- walk up the hill on State Street about 6 blocks till it dead ends into Huntington Street, turn right and walk one block to the beginning of Broad Street, turn left on to Broad.  St Francis House is on the second block. 


We know for sure the following are coming:
Bruce and Shoshanah, Juniper, Owusu, Gloria and Walter.
Hoping others can join us as able.

I do have a new grandbaby due any day now for whom
I am the "designated birth partner", so my plans for the
next few weeks are always "subject to change".
However, I do expect and very much hope to be with you all!
