Thanks Fred! I got notifications that weird posts were being made and I immediately thought - oh what a PITA for Fred! Thanks for cleaning us up!

The web site is being attacked by someone from Haifa, Israel, who is attempting multiple fake registrations and, when successful, posts spam to the forums. The latest example is someone with the username "bleartyAbeste bleartyAbeste". (Note the pattern is doubling the first and last names, at least at present.)

While I am working on blocking these attacks, please DO NOT open any links posted by this person. Feel free to use the "report to moderator" link at the bottom of each message when you spot one of these posts.

As soon as I spot these posts and can do so, I am deleting the post and the account of the user.

Fortunately, I'm able to identify IP addresses for the spammers and add their address ranges to a block list. It should eventually slow this group down.

Quite annoying!
